Ashby (Chair), S. Burk, D. Halliday, Vandra Masemann, S. Nathwani, R. Tennyson, R. Watson<\/p>\n<p>Regrets:\u00a0 D. Fuller, S. Munro<\/p>\n<p>Guest: Volker Masemann<\/p>\n<p><strong><!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Minutes of October meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Acceptance of the minutes moved by Adele, seconded by Bob.\u00a0 Accepted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Matters arising from the Minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All matters arising from the Minutes were dealt with later in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Announcements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vandra announced the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We have had 24 rugby shirt orders, with a good response from the Facebook people.\u00a0 We ordered 5 extras, 3 of which are already spoken for.<\/li>\n<li>The OMF will pay for the refurbishment of the plaques on the archives sports trophies.\u00a0 Volker and Donna will photograph them when the work is done.<\/li>\n<li>Vandra announced that the January MRBS executive meeting had been changed from 9 to 16.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. President\u2019s Report \u2013 Adele Ashby<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adele noted that what she had to report dealt with the reunion and would be discussed later.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Vice-President\u2019s Report \u2013Vandra Masemann<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vandra announced that there had been a meeting of the OMF at the end of November, and Bob went in her place as she was unavailable.\u00a0 Bob reported that we have received $500 that was meant for the OMF, which he handed over.\u00a0 We received a cheque for $1,090 for donations meant for the MRBS.\u00a0 The OMF would like to send out a letter about legacy donations with our spring <i>Musings.<\/i>\u00a0 After some discussion, it was decided that the spring mailing was not suitable and that we would ask the OMF to wait until the fall one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.\u00a0 Group ticket update \u2013 Sandra Burk <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sandra reported that she was still working on a possible discount with Mirvish and Canadian Stage.\u00a0 She can offer 20% off <i>The Wizard of Oz.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Communications Reports \u2013 Sonya Munro, Bob Watson, Donna Halliday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(a) Snail mail \u2013 Sonya<\/p>\n<p>In Sonya\u2019s absence, Vandra reported that Sonya was using the new mail tracking form.<\/p>\n<p>(b) Phone and email \u2013 Bob<\/p>\n<p>Bob reported 5 phone calls, mostly to do with <i>Musings.<\/i>\u00a0 There were also 30 MRBS emails, mostly to do with address changes, rugby shirts, and the reunion.<\/p>\n<p>(c) Datebase \u2013 Donna<\/p>\n<p>Donna has just done an update, and we currently have a total of 2,675 entries, 1,634 email and 831 snail mail names and addresses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Treasurer\u2019s Report \u2013 Bob Watson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bob reported that we had $2,907.39 in the bank although the actual balance is $4,478 because 3 cheques have not been cashed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Technical Director\u2019s Report \u2013 Shanta Nathwani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shanta thanked Vandra for her Facebook efforts.\u00a0 She noted that we needed to decide who is posting when on the website and that the computer in the Archives Room is now fully functional.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Other business<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shanta noted that and Remembrance Day and Commencement ceremonies went well and that she had handed out reunion registration forms at the latter.<\/p>\n<p>Donna reported that the Malvern Red and Black Day was a success and that she had posted photos on the website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Motion to adjourn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Moved by Irene, seconded by Vandra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reunion meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.
