• MCI – The Best English Department in Toronto

Good afternoon, Esteemed Members of Malvern’s Red and Black Society: It is indeed my honour, and my pleasure, to have been invited to be your keynote speaker today. I also bring greetings from our principal, Line Pinard, who is unable to attend today. She wanted me to extend her good wishes to all of you, and her heart-felt gratitude for the remarkable ongoing support this strong and vibrant community of Malvern alumni continues to provide our school.

Welcome to the second edition of our Musings newsletter. With Remembrance Day just around the corner, we have dedicated this issue to our more senior alumni who while being some of our most vocal and enthusiastic members, lived through a difficult period in Malvern’s history, and indeed the world’s history. We would like to give a little glimpse into what life at Malvern was like in the early days and honour the memory of those students who sacrificed so much to give us the freedoms and rights that we enjoy today.
