Commencement Brochure — June 29, 2022
Thank you to principal Sandy Kaskens for inviting the Malvern Red and Black Society and the Onward Malvern Foundation to attend this event. It was exciting to share in this momentous day as grads started their future after Malvern. We welcome the 2022 Graduating class in joining us now — as Alumni!” We also produced this brochure, which was given out to every graduate, to introduce ourselves and let them know what we are doing.

Using the Malvern Archives for Canadian History Inquiry
To introduce my Grade 10 Canadian history students to the process of inquiry and “doing history,” I take them down to the Archives Room. Students investigate the various sources: old Muses, newspaper accounts, usually articles NOT about Malvern, but on the back of a story about a football game, or a former alumnus/a. Students are required to select artifacts that took place between 1945 and 1982.
